Our solutions feed production lines in the wood processing industry, chain up manufacturing machines and package and de-stack the finished products. We support our clients with tailor-made special plants from production to provisioning.
Particularly in the following areas we have long-standing experience in implementing both stand-alone solutions and integrating customized plant components into complex production lines.
Production of MDF and particle boards
In the field of production lines for finishing of MDF and particle boards, we supply our clients with the complete materials handling line from charging the coating plant to providing finished board stacks.
Plug-in systems in connection with portal solutions enable us to separate the stacks of raw boards for infeed to the coating plant and to supply them to the finishing process at the production clock rate. Optionally, the conveyor line downstream of the coating plant can be equipped with cleaning and ionization devices. For final quality evaluation of the finished boards, there are inspection posts with lighting and board lifters, which help the staff to evaluate the board quality from both sides. As another important process step, we offer board coolers, which give the finished MDF and particle boards in a close space and by gentle handling the necessary time to cool down. In the sorting portal following the cooling line, the boards are stacked onto the respective pallet stations according to the quality classes assigned at the inspection posts; and they are transferred from, for example, a transfer trolley to the heavy duty conveyor line and then to shipment. Depending on the project-specific requirements, we design the necessary handling and conveying processes for our clients and also deliver the appertaining process control.
Production of laminate flooring
Our product portfolio for the laminate flooring production starts with de-stacking of decorative boards by a portal charger with board pre-separation. It is an important characteristic of our solutions to meet the increased throughput requirements of modern and high-performance flooring production with material-protecting handling of the ready-to-ship material surfaces. This is amended by our concepts for post-provisioning of the charging positions and for removal of the empty transport pallets. With the conveyor lines produced in our house, the separated boards are handed over to the first production process step, the cross saw. Upstream of the subsequent longitudinal cutting, we offer centering tables, which align the decorative boards along the surface decor and transfer them to the process step of longitudinal sawing in their correct position. This dimensionally accurate alignment and transfer set the course for subsequent high product quality.
After cutting the laminate boards, they must be turned over into the profiling processes on the conveying line so that the useable surface of the laminate boards forms an unchanging, high-quality reference layer with the profiler’s conveyor elements. In synchronous operation of the production process, our laminate board turner guarantees the correct position and precise placing on the conveyor line.
After running through the profiling line, the finished laminate boards are transferred to collection points. These have intermediate buffers in order to guarantee continuous production without interruptions. The client decides if the following packaging steps are delivered as an integration service of our in-house transport logistics. For palletizing the finished laminate flooring packages, our product portfolio offers fast portal systems or palletizing robots. Complete pallet layers are collected on the conveyor line and stacked onto the allocated transport pallet by an adapted gripper in one handling step. We can conclude this conveying flow and handling process, which we have often implemented for our clients with a pallet doubler as stacking unit for ready-packed pallets upstream of shipping. In order to save time in forklift handling and to increase the efficiency of the removal of goods, in this station the ready-to-ship product pallets are stacked in twos on top of each other and are then ready for collection.

Furniture industry
Corresponding to the solutions for MDF and particle board production and for the production of wood flooring, we can also supply our clients in the furniture industry with our products for handling and conveying of boards with stand-alone machines as well as system solutions.
In addition, we offer our pallet magazine for custom sizes and special shapes, to support in-house logistics in the furniture production. This enables our clients to stage also the pallets that are shaped to meet the particular production demands in a space-saving way, timely and within the production cycle.
For disposable pallet handling for shipment, our house offers solutions, which separate the disposable pallets that are often stacked in twos in order to save space on the transport and feed them to the loading process in the used orientation.
In the production areas of dispatch loading, drum-type turning devices can reload from the in-house system pallets to shipping pallets while protecting the material. The turning technology that our engineering and production particularly design for the individual case is however also available for other necessary turning processes of board or package stacks.
