Representatives from Rotte were able to accept a special prize in Düsseldorf on Saturday: the award as a finalist in the race for the "Großer Preis des Mittelstands" - the "most coveted business award in Germany" according to the newspaper Welt.
During a festive gala at the Maritim Hotel, managing partner Benedikt Rotte and managing director Dr. Gockel were presented with the award by members of the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. In the end, the company was able to achieve almost as good ratings in the competition criteria as the award winners. "The jury was particularly impressed by the company's high level of innovation and development," Petra Tröger emphasized in her laudatory speech.
"The award is a great appreciation for our daily work and especially for our workforce, which has made a significant contribution to this award," Benedikt Rotte emphasized during the award ceremony.
Since 1994, the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" has been the only business award in Germany to look not only at figures or jobs, but at the company as a whole. Rotte achieved outstanding ratings in the areas of overall development, creation and safeguarding of jobs and apprenticeships, modernization and innovation, commitment to the region and service.
