  • Takeover of cut films as a flat cutting pattern
  • Conveying and separating the products at the end of the transfer conveyor
  • Stacking of the blanks on the elevating conveyor
  • Transfer of the stacks to the unloading conveyor
  • Removal of the stacks is done manually by operator

Description:

Automatic stacking by the overlapping conveyor takes place directly in the line with a small footprint. This solution offers a cost-effective alternative to gantries or robotic systems.

The film is unwound from the upstream cutter, cut to size and transferred to the takeover conveyor as a complete slice. While the cutter produces the next marker, the system stacks the products from the previously transferred marker on the elevating conveyor. The required data is made available to the system via an interface. Finished stacks are transferred to the removal conveyor, where they are buffered if necessary or removed manually at the end.

The belt conveyors of the system are individually matched to the cutter and each mounted on a robust base frame. All transitions are designed in such a way that even very thin films are transported reliably. Conveyor and lifting drives are designed with servo motors and, in conjunction with the coordinated sensor system, enable precise alignment of the stacks.
