Description:

The tasks involved in joining are very different, depending on the joining processes involved, such as pressing, caulking, clipping or roller burnishing. In order to develop or ensure optimum joining processes for certain components, force and displacement are used as important key figures for quality assessment. The corresponding monitoring can be designed as an integrated inline solution or as a stand-alone system. Whether as a universal test workstation or as an integrated production monitoring system, the data of these measured variables are recorded by sensors during the process and visualized as a force-displacement curve with the aid of software.
