Twelfth edition with inspring Stories<\/strong><\/p>\n For the twelfth time, dedicated individuals from the skilled trades gathered in Raesfeld. Seven craftspeople from across North Rhine-Westphalia spoke with Mona Neubaur, Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, and Berthold Schr\u00f6der, President of the WHKT, about their motivations and experiences. It became clear that volunteer work provides stability for the community, creates opportunities, and strengthens social cohesion.<\/p>\n The honoured entrepreneurs combine excellence in the skilled trades with exemplary social commitment – ranging from training young people and integrating refugees to supporting local clubs and social projects, all the way to international relief efforts in Africa and Ukraine. Through their initiatives, they create career opportunities, strenghten cohesion in the region, and make a lasting contribution to the common good through donations, volunteer work, and personal dedication.<\/p>\n Minister Neubaur emphasized: “Many things wouldn\u00b4t work if skilled tradespeople didn\u00b4t so often pitch in on a volunteer basis – for their city, their community, and their neighborhood.”<\/p>\n Rotte: Corporate Responsibility at the Local Level<\/strong><\/p>\n The Rotte company also embodies a commitment to volunteerism: Managing Partner Benedikt Rotte combines corporate responsibility with regional engagement. By building a daycare center for 75 children at its Tudorf location, the company promotes work-life balance and strengthens the local economy. Since 2026, Rotte has been an official “Help Point for Kids” of the Caritas Association of Paderborn and also supports youth and club sports as well as local events.<\/p>\n “I accept this certificate on behalf of our entire workforce as well. Many of our colleagues volunteer every day, whether in sports clubs, the fire department, or shooting clubs.
