The batch feeder for the mixing room consists primarily of a mounted cutting unit and a feed belt. The sheets are manually placed onto the conveyor belt. A top belt ensures the batch enters the cutting process evenly. The material is then transported through a sensor-monitored cutting chamber. The sheet is laid in a loop onto the customer’s integrated or existing weighing belt, where it is weighed. Once the target weight is reached, the cutting process is triggered. Up to three sheets, with a total maximum thickness of 36 mm, can be processed simultaneously. The batch feeder comes with a fixed cutting head. Upon request, it can also be equipped with a movable cutting head, enabling supply to two mixer lines.
