For the first time, we took part in the ‘SchuBS® Electrical Engineering’ project and opened our doors on two Saturdays to 25 pupils from the Paderborn district.
The young people were introduced to robot programming by our apprentices. Our apprentices had developed the programme independently in advance as part of a team project.
The pupils played their way through various robotics stations and had to open a bottle of water with an IGUS robot, play Jenga with a Fanuc robot and teach an LR-Mate how to throw dice. There was even a prize for the best group. The subsequent final evaluations showed us that the pupils had a lot of fun, as the focus was primarily on practical experience.

We will also be back in the next ‘Schubs’ year, which starts in February 2025. Interested ninth-graders can already apply:
