Family friendliness as a success factor

Rotte repeatedly recognized as a family-friendly company

For the fourth time in a row, we have been awarded the seal of approval as a “Family-friendly company in Paderborn.”

Vera Thebille (HR Specialist) and Irina Franz (Payroll Accounting) accepted the certificate in a ceremony at the Kongresshaus Bad Lippspringe from District Administrator Christoph Rüther and Björn Böker, Managing Director of OstWestfalenLippe GmbH.
This year, we were once again able to impress the jury with our diverse commitment to balancing family, care, and career. Individual working time models, daycare places, advice on care issues, and joint family outings are just a small selection of the measures we offer our employees.

“The district of Paderborn has a strong business community that knows what matters. I am proud that so many companies are constantly evolving. Family is a precious commodity – and that is why it is worth investing in workplace harmony and economic success,” said District Administrator Christoph Rüther in his congratulatory speech.

While 27 companies applied in 2017, more than 100 companies submitted their applications this year—80 of them for the second time. This is a clear sign that family friendliness is becoming increasingly important for companies in the Paderborn district.

We at Rotte are particularly proud of this award because it shows that family friendliness is not just a buzzword for us, but something we put into practice.
